Mary Louise Page passed away peacefully on March 10, 2023 of heart disease at the Dallas Retirement Village in Dallas, OR.
She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on Oct. 26, 1934 to Russell and Teressa Spang. She grew up there with her sister in West Haven until she was married to Nigel Page on Dec. 29, 1967. They made their home in Glendale, California and had one daughter, Glenda in 1969. Mary’s sister, Barbara Tetreault was 7 years older than Mary. Her sister had her 2 children 7 years apart. Mary helped with babysitting the son and daughter of her sister until she moved across the country.
In 1999 they bought a home in Falls City, Oregon and moved in 2000. When her daughter got married in 2003, they bought her a home right next door. All of them lived there until Nigel passed on April, 2015, then Mary moved to Dallas.
Some of Mary’s greatest joys was spending time with Glenda and her friends. Her greatest joy was square dancing with her husband followed by line dancing after he passed. She also enjoyed travelling to various other countries and taking cruises with her husband.
Mary was a member of Valley Life Center where she enjoyed many years of serving and worshipping with her church family.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Glenda and her husband Jack Sylsberry.
