Obituary for Marjorie E. Woodrum

Marjory Woodrum, a resident of Dallas, died on Sunday, November 26th in Dallas. She was born on August 8th, 1923, in Coos Bay, Oregon, the daughter of Ed and Sarah Engblom. Marjory graduated from high school in Coos Bay. Marjory married Bill Woodrum on June 15, 1942, in Vancouver, Washington. They moved to Turner for a time and then bought a dairy farm in Falls City, Oregon. They moved to Salem in 1955 and then to Dallas. In 1987 they settled in Salem/Keizer. Marjory came back to Dallas six months ago and resided at Blue Haven where she was well cared for. Marjory liked the Oregon Coast. She also enjoyed tending her house plants, especially her Christmas Cactus. She enjoyed collecting ceramic birds.

She is survived by her son, Bill Woodrum of Dallas, daughters, Ramona Fae Hestekind and Diane Degryse along with 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in May 17, 2006 and grandson, Shawn Woodrum on August 16, 2010.
